Hi there! I’m Alex.

I’m a multimedia designer, photographer, editor and a pretty rad person based in Cape Town, SA.  I’m passionate about storytelling and conveying said stories and messages through a variety of mediums, I’m also into long nature walks and I think dinosaurs are very cool.

I’ve studied animation, graphic design and web development.

My career began as a graphic designer for Chaos Computers and shortly after I was awarded a bursary to further my studies at CityVarsity in New Media Development.

In late 2013, I was diagnosed with cancer and spent much of 2014 in and out of hospital. This experience has (hopefully) made me a better person and it eventually changed my career goals after some introspection.

I spent a few years working as a web developer and graphic designer and gained a lot of experience working under a multitude of different environments.

In 2016 I was lucky enough to be hired as an intern by Wagtale Films (check them out over here). Working at Wagtale has increased my skill set even more and ignited my passion for film making and story telling. Wagtale is fairly small studio and we wear many hats between the three of us. My duties include everything from camera work to video editing and animation.

But that’s enough about me…
